Holden Test Drive Terms and Conditions



  1. The Holden online test drive booking form allows you to book a test drive no earlier than 24 hours prior to and no later than 2 months from submission of the online form. The form allows you to book a test drive at the Holden Dealership and date of your choice, subject to availability. Additional bookings are at the Holden Dealership discretion.
  2. Bookings are subject to availability and are taken on a strictly 'first come first served' basis.
  3. Online requests for a test drive are not confirmed bookings until you receive final notification from the respective Holden Dealership via telephone and email.
  4. The invitee is entitled to bring ONE adult and up to 2 children under 18 years of age. Any additional guests will be will be at the Holden Dealerships discretion.
  5. Only the named invitee is eligible to test drive the vehicle but where the capacity of the car allows, the adult guest may also drive and children may travel as passengers.
  6. All drivers of test drive vehicles provided will be required to sign their acceptance of the Holden Dealership terms and conditions and comply thereto at all times.
  7. All drivers must be between 17 years of age and 70 years of age.
  8. All drivers will be expected to present their Original driving licence for inspection before taking a test drive (a photocopy will not be accepted). Failure to do so will prevent you from test driving any of the test drive vehicles.
  9. All drivers must have a full clean NZ driving licence. All Driving Licences must be valid for insurance purposes and up to date. (i.e. correct address, and must be full not restricted or learners).
  10. All drivers agree to obey all traffic and road rules.
  11. All drivers are responsible and liable for any traffic infringements incurred by the driver during the test drive.
  12. All drivers agree to provide any requested details to the Holden Dealership (including but not limited to Name, Full Address, Contact Telephone Number, Current vehicle details).
  13. It is the onus of the driver to notify the Holden Dealership booking representative if they have acquired penalty points, is banned from driving, received an endorsement(s) on their licence (including a Dangerous Driving Offence, or Drink or Drug related driving offences).
  14. Participation is strictly subject to the driver agreeing to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of the Holden Dealership.
  15. Any person who is or is suspected to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be required to leave the Holden Dealership immediately.
  16. All Holden Dealerships reserve the right to decline to permit any person to drive any vehicle without being required to give reasons for such exclusion, should they consider it to be necessary.
  17. All drivers and guests are responsible for their own property - please ensure it is kept safe at all times. Holden New Zealand Ltd and the Holden Dealership accept no responsibility for loss or theft of, or damage to property.
  18. Holden New Zealand Ltd and the Holden Dealership accept no liability for personal loss or liability as a result of a test drive.
  19. Holden New Zealand Ltd and Holden Dealerships shall not be held responsible for any cancellation of any test drive, which may be due to circumstance outside their control, including - but not limited to - adverse weather conditions.
  20. The online test drive booking process is the sole property of Holden New Zealand Ltd.
